It’s really no big secret that I’m not a huge fan of EA these days - they buy up too many of my favorite game companies. Leave the little guys alone for shit’s sake.
Anyways.
I always thought that the danger of a more generic, uninspired view of making games would become more prevalent as more games fell under the umbrella of one company. I believe that still. But Mirror’s Edge is one of the few titles that make me think that EA could still move a couple genres forward if they felt like it.

"What’s not to like about PS3? Playing videos games, accessing Playstation Network, intuitive firmware updates via WIFI/ LAN/Flash Media, abundant of video formats support and least but not last, most consistent and fastest load times Blu-Ray player to date. The Japanese has put 2nd generation BD recorder, 3rd generation Blu-Ray standalones and the good old PS3 on test; no surprises here, Ps3 once again came out on top in team of disc loading speed."

"Complaints of choppy frame rates and graphical glitches are peppered throughout Bethesda’s forums for the game, with others complaining about random lock ups and various other issues - textures not loading, significant slowdown etc. Two major bugs have already been addressed by Bethesda in the forums, one concerning the game freezing during the GOAT test earlier in the game, and another dealing with the game pausing whenever a PS3 notification occurs. The first issue can apparently be solved by saving and restarting, while they suggest turning off notifications in the XMB for the second. "
