FinalFantasy-XIII.net: If you live in Japan, you got to see part of the FFXIII trailer from last E3 in HD on the TV show, SmaSTATION yesterday. The clip shows a small retrospective of select Final Fantasy titles from the past with what we’re going to see in the future. You can see the clip here but there’s no HD version.

One of my most anticipated games for this year is Left 4 Dead, Valve’s Zombie Apocalypse game that’s all about cooperative play. The thing is I haven’t been able to try, and until this week no one has, is the Xbox 360 version of the game.

I was worries that a Valve game built to be a PC experience would lose some of its luster when it hit the Xbox 360. So I sat down yesterday to play through one of the game’s 20 or so maps.

The success of the Wii has brought a lot of attention to motion-based game controls. Sony and Microsoft are undoubtedly working on their own motion-control systems right at this moment, but Motus, a company started by a team of MIT grads out in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has already demonstrated a new controller that has the potential to bring motion control to any gaming platform.
