Halo 4 already in development?

Speaking with Bungie at an exclusive Microsoft event this month people were informed that there was no rest for the wicked for the team as Bungie was already beavering away at the next Halo game in the franchise. When questioned whether the game would be a prequel, Bungie remained tight lipped as always.

PSU Writes: "Spy games. WMDs. World espionage, stealth kills, and secret agendas. Welcome to the world of Syphon Filter. The latest installment of the series for the PSP finds Gabe Logan and the agency rushing to the aid of a besieged navy transport; the Mount St. Helens. This mission is undertaken at the behest of Cordell, a white collar criminal and bureaucrat who reeks of corruption and is dirtier than a sewage worker in a white suit. Shortly after hitting the scene, Logan and crew are plunged into a firefight as they encounter pirates attempting to hijack the contents of Hold 5. Without revealing too much of the storyline, Logan finds that he is not the first response team to make the scene. Gabe is also quickly robbed of his escape route, as well as any support in the field".

1up: Developers Concern Over EU 360 Sales

Amidst discussions of the rumoured price drop from Sony in the 1up studio, developers reveal that 360 software sales in Europe, outside the UK, are "tanking" to the extreme point that publishers and developers are considering to not even release games in Europe outside the UK, much like how Infinity Ward are rumoured to be releasing CoD4: Modern Warfare only on the PlayStation 3 in Asia.

All in how you say it (How Mass Effect lip-syncs in different languages)

Mass Effect will be released simultaneously in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German when it goes on sale worldwide in late November. Take 30,000 lines of spoken dialogue, multiply it by five languages and you have an animation team’s worst nightmare.

Fortunately, the game’s custom-built underlying software actually "listens" to each voice actor’s recorded dialogue and shapes the on-screen character’s mouth movements to sync up with what’s being said, no matter what language they’re speaking…

Unreal Tournament III: CVG Preview

Project Gotham Racing 4: Eurogamer Interview

After the mad rush to get PGR3 done that preceded the 360 launch, PGR4 has been a bit of a gentler ride. Relatively, anyway. You’d probably be too weak to make it the whole way. But Bizarre is full of strong, masculine characters, like design manager Gareth Wilson and community hero Ben Ward, who sat down with Eurogamer during a recent visit to the studio to talk about how the game was made, and - most importantly - how excellent motorbikes are.

Buying a new Xbox 360 Console is tricky right now

It appears that the new "Falcon" series of the Xbox 360 have hit store shelves.If this new Xbox 360s will run more stable and have less failures is not clear yet.

The Xbox 360 consoles with the 65nm CPU technology are apparently not marked as new on the outside, which is really an issue for consumers.
The chances are good that these new Xbox 360 consoles will run more stable and they apparently save 30% of energy. Like with the HDMI feature Microsoft should openly mark the new generation of Xbox 360 boxes to be clearly identifiable by customers.
