First, let me say that EA is doing the right thing. Not only is it proper strategy to establish a bit of real estate in this hands-on, musical genre, but dealing with MTV brings a lot of benefits. You just know that the music channel will leverage its broadcast assets to maximize the promotional value for Rock Band.
Second, I’d say that Activision shareholders maybe should worry — but only in a small, healthy way. Having a little competition around might not be such a bad thing. The publisher knows it’s going to have to pull out all the stops to ensure that its next Guitar Hero game, which is being developed by Neversoft, will still appeal to its hardcore base as well as a whole host of new groupies. Still, when the creator of Guitar Hero takes the playing field to the next level, you know a lot of mindshare will be focused on the competing product.

Bungie — ever secretive — is guarding the full details of Halo 3’s storyline, but the creators were kind enough to let 1UP play a few missions and get a feel for the single-player experience: the graphics, the controls, the challenges.
Tsavo Highway is the game’s third mission, set near the Kenyan coast not far from Halo 2’s New Mombasa. (Kenya seems to factor heavily into the Covenant’s schemes, likely due to the presence of an ancient alien installation called the Ark, which in true Bible style is believed to be a refuge from or a weapon against the parasitic Flood.) The level begins in the shattered ruins of a human military base.

As of today Sony has announced the full Gran Turismo 5 car list. It consists of 10000 cars. At launch it will only have 340 cars while the others will be developed in the future. Polyphony Digital will also develop cars for individual clients. That means in the future we could have any car put into the game for a special price. Of course the damage model will be not present in GT5. Below we are attaching the nearly official carlist of GT5. Be ready for more info in the near future!

Buffalo’s new Wi-Fi device offers a dumbed-down, push-one-button-for-everything-to-magically-work solution to setting up a secure Wi-Fi connection.
Supporting the PSP, PS3, DS, and shortly the Wii, the actual process of getting connected couldn’t be any simpler. All you’re required to do is push the button on top of the Gamer, select AOSS (which stands for "AirStation OneTouch Secure System", Buffalo’s proprietary connection technology), and the apparently necromantic box does the rest of the legwork. An absolute cinch.
